Technology has improved so much just in the last ten years that it is sometimes hard for hearing professionals to keep up. The competitiveness of the manufacturers to develop the best technology only serves to benefit the consumer, but at the same time, there are so many options available it can be difficult to sift through all the marketing to determine what the best solution is for you. There are so many ways to obtain information on hearing aid technology—newspaper ads, brochures, the internet—that it can be a bit overwhelming.
The simplest way to determine what is best for you is to narrow down your choices based on the following three areas:
